We keep the scanning-monochromator NIR family running — current and legacy, across Blue Sun Scientific and FOSS. It's one class of instrument, and we know it thoroughly rather than dabbling in everything with a lamp in it.
Phoenix 5000/6000
The Phoenix (5000 and 6000) is the one instrument in the family still being built, so it's the one with parts, lamps, and a manufacturer behind it. We install, calibrate, maintain, and monitor it — full service on current hardware.
It comes in two sample-presentation formats — Top Window (samples from above, the familiar layout for labs coming from a FOSS 5000 or 6500) and Sideloader (side-loaded through a rail with optional autosampler, for higher throughput) — each available in a Standard or Extended wavelength range. We service and calibrate all of them.
Legacy FOSS instruments — 5000, 6500, and XDS
These are past FOSS support, and more recently the supply of replacement lamps ended too — the manufacturer who made them is gone, with no viable source for new ones. An instrument that can't be relamped runs until its current lamp goes and no longer, which for most units still in service is a question of months rather than years.
But the optics didn't expire, and the calibrations built on these instruments are no less valid than the day they were made. So rather than sell you a repair, we spend the remaining time on the part of your program that keeps its value — the calibrations, the data, and the people running them:

Calibration development, monitoring & validation — new equations and constituents, and ongoing validation against reference chemistry, on your WINISI-lineage data.

Training & Remote Support — the software, the workflow, and the operators.
And when the instrument does stop, your calibrations don't have to. A program can move onto a current instrument like the Phoenix — same scanning-monochromator design, same software lineage and file formats — with calibrations transferred and standardized rather than rebuilt.
